The things coaches ask most. This page adds a new answer every time a question gets answered for the first time, so it is always current.
Several browsers is fine, and it has nothing to do with your Google account. Your personal code is what signs you in. Install the extension in whichever Chrome-based browser you use (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc) and paste the same code into each one. You paste it once per browser, or once per Chrome profile if you keep separate work and personal profiles. It will not work in Safari or Firefox, because it is a Chrome extension.
It is not in the sidebar, which is why it looks missing. Go to your LinkedIn feed and look under any post: there is a "Comment with Dear Alli" button there. Click it, pick a goal (get on their radar, or show your expertise) and Dear Alli writes you three comments to choose from. It appears on the feed, on a single post's page, on search results, on company and group pages, and on someone's activity. It will not appear in your messages, because there are no posts there. If you still cannot see it, reload the LinkedIn tab once. The extension only loads when the page does.
Yes. On comments left on your own posts, each comment gets a small "Reply with Dear Alli" button in its action bar, next to Like and Reply. Click it and pick the voice: Dear Alli's voice to warm the person up, or your own voice to go deeper. You get three replies to choose from, each one grounded in what the person actually wrote. It only appears on your own posts, not on other people's.
Three things to check, in order. First, reload the LinkedIn tab. The extension only loads when a page loads, so a tab you had open before installing will not have it. Second, look for a Dear Alli button in the row you are already looking at: Draft with Dear Alli in the message box, or Comment with Dear Alli under a post. Third, make sure you are on linkedin.com in a Chrome-based browser on a laptop. It does not run on the LinkedIn mobile app.
Copy the whole code from your welcome email and paste it on its own, with no spaces before, after or inside it. It is a long string of letters and numbers. You are set up when the Dear Alli tab says it is ready after you click Save code. Your first draft is the proof. Codes are per person, so a code shared from another coach will not work. If it still will not take, email dearalli@goto11.ca and a person will sort it out.
Yes, for messages. Dear Alli reads Sales Navigator inbox threads and lead pages the same way it reads a normal LinkedIn conversation. The comment features are LinkedIn-side only, since that is where posts live.
No. It is a Chrome extension, so it runs on LinkedIn in a Chrome-based browser on a laptop or desktop. There is no phone version today. Capture the conversation at your desk and the draft is waiting when you get there.
Open their profile and press Openers with Dear Alli. It asks how you are reaching out (a connection note, a blank request, or a message to someone you are already connected to), then writes three openers from different angles. You see one at a time. Press next angle to see the others, and warmer or shorter to adjust the one on screen.
Use Send feedback in the panel footer. It goes straight to the Dear Alli team with what you were looking at attached, so there is no need to explain where you were. Most how-to questions are answered on this page already. If yours is not, ask and the answer gets added here.
Use the "Send feedback" option inside the extension sidebar. It sends your note straight through with the page you were on attached, so no screenshot needed. That is the right one for anything broken, because it carries the detail needed to fix it. If LinkedIn changes a page and a button stops working, you do not have to do anything. Most LinkedIn changes are fixed within two business days, and Chrome's review can add one to three more.
Dear Alli replies to you instantly, with no approval step in the way. A copy goes to a private review channel afterwards, read by Alli Rizacos of Authentic Results and by Kenny, so the coaching can be corrected and the system trained. That is how the drafts keep getting sharper. Nobody else sees it. It reads only what is on your screen, only when you click. Nothing runs in the background.
Prices on the site are before tax, and Canadian customers pay GST or HST on top at the rate for their province: 13% in Ontario, 15% in the Atlantic provinces, 5% in Alberta and the territories, and 5% plus provincial tax elsewhere. Customers outside Canada pay no Canadian tax at all. Prices are also in US dollars, so if your card is in another currency your bank converts at their rate and may add its own foreign transaction fee. That is the bank fee. If you have a business GST/HST number, you can enter it at checkout and it appears on your invoice.
Cancel any time, two ways: the billing link in any receipt from Stripe, or reply to any email from us. Cancelling stops the next payment, it does not cut you off on the spot. You keep working until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds: full refund within fourteen days of your first payment, no reason needed. After that, annual plans get the unused months back, and a month already under way is not refunded because you have had the use of it. The full version is at dearalli.goto11.ca/refunds.
No second profile, and no second Dear Alli. One profile covers both. Open your profile link and fill in "Your Audiences", one audience per line. For example: "women 30+ in tech startups" on one line and "HR leads and founders at corporates" on the next. Then in Main Offer, name each product and say which audience it is for. Before Dear Alli drafts a cold opener it asks which audience you are writing to. In a live conversation it works the audience out from the thread and pulls the matching offer. Save, and it takes effect on your next draft. If you have lost your profile link, use Send feedback and the team will resend it.
Yes, it is called Pipeline. On your LinkedIn Messaging page, press the Pipeline button at the top of your conversation list. It shows everyone you are talking to, with the people who need you at the top: who wrote back, who you are waiting on, and who has a call booked. Each row has its own buttons: Call booked, Follow up on a date, and Set it aside. It only ever shows your own conversations.
Pipeline fills up as you use Dear Alli on LinkedIn: open a conversation, press Draft with Dear Alli, and that person appears in your Pipeline from then on. So a brand new account starts empty. That is expected.
Use Send feedback in the panel footer. It comes straight to the Dear Alli team with the page you were on attached, so there is nothing to explain and no screenshot to take.
