Dear Alli

Dear Alli Terms of Service

In effect from 30 August 2026. Dear Alli is operated by Go To 11 Communication Strategies, Toronto, Canada.

What you are buying

A subscription to Dear Alli, a Chrome extension that reads the LinkedIn conversation open on your screen, when you click, and writes you a draft message. You decide what to send. Dear Alli never sends anything, never posts on your behalf, and does nothing in the background.

Your account

Your access code identifies you. Whoever holds it is you, as far as Dear Alli is concerned, so keep it to yourself. One subscription is one person. If you need seats for a team, get in touch rather than sharing a code, because a shared code cannot tell your drafts apart from anybody else's.

You are responsible for what you send. Dear Alli writes drafts. Every message that leaves your account was sent by you, and LinkedIn's own terms still apply to you when you send it.

Plans and message counts

Standard includes 250 messages a month. Pro includes 500. A message is one draft from Dear Alli, whoever it is for: one person messaged a hundred times is a hundred messages. Your count starts again each month on the day you started paying. If that day does not exist in a month, it starts again on the last day of that month.

Your plan includes a set number of messages each month. You can see your count as you go, and we email you at 80% and at 100%. At your number, Dear Alli stops writing new drafts until your count starts again on the day of the month you started paying. On Standard, you can move to Pro at any time by emailing the team. Separately, a daily safety limit stops a runaway day of automated use; no coach working by hand has ever reached it.

If we have agreed a lower price with you, it applies to that subscription only. If you cancel and come back later, you pay the price on the site at that time.

Acceptable use

Automating Dear Alli, running it through scripts, or reselling access is not allowed, and is the one thing that will get an account closed without a refund.

Billing

Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or hold your card details. Monthly plans renew every month and annual plans renew every twelve months, on the date you first paid, until you cancel.

Your rate is locked as long as your subscription stays active. If our prices change, you keep the price you signed up at. If your subscription ends and you come back later, the price at that time applies.

All prices are in US dollars. Go To 11 is a Canadian company, so if your card is in another currency your bank does the conversion at their rate and may add a foreign transaction fee. That fee is your bank's, not ours.

Prices shown are before tax. Go To 11 is registered for GST/HST (number 898774914RT0001), so Canadian customers are charged GST or HST at the rate for their province, added at checkout and shown on the receipt. Customers outside Canada pay no Canadian tax. If you have a business GST/HST number you can enter it at checkout and it appears on your invoice.

Cancelling

Cancel any time, and see Refunds and cancellation for exactly what happens to your access and your money.

What we do not promise

Dear Alli is a writing tool. It does not promise replies, meetings, clients or revenue, and nobody can honestly promise those. It is built on a large language model, which means it will sometimes write something wrong, awkward, or not right for the moment. That is what the draft step is for: read it before you send it.

We aim to keep it running and available, and we do not guarantee it will be. If it is down for a meaningful stretch, get in touch and we will make it right. LinkedIn changes its pages without notice, and when that breaks a button we fix it and ship the fix through the Chrome Web Store. Most LinkedIn changes are fixed within two business days, and Chrome's review can add one to three more.

Your data

What Dear Alli reads, what it stores, who can see it, and how to have it deleted are all set out in the privacy policy. In short: it reads only what is on your screen, only when you click, and you can ask for all of it to be deleted. Dear Alli learns from patterns across all coaches. Your actual conversations are never shown to anyone else.

Ending an account

You can leave at any time. We can close an account for the things listed under acceptable use, for chargebacks, or for using Dear Alli to do something illegal. If we close your account for any other reason, you get the unused part of your subscription back.

The legal bits

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Our liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before whatever went wrong. Nothing here removes a right you have under Canadian consumer law that cannot be removed by agreement.

If we change these terms, the date at the top changes, and anything that materially affects what you are paying for will be emailed to you before it takes effect.
